Tips for Making Money Online With Blogs
A blog is a type of website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, pictures, videos, descriptions of events, and some other material.
The blog is a way to communicate with others along with sharing your experience online. But nowadays, you can do a lot of things using your own blog. For example, you can turn it to an excellent earning machine.
If you want some real life stories of inspiration as a proof, just google \"blog earners\" for example, and you will discover that many people are making real money online with blogging.
Of course, there are different ways to earn from your blog, and I\'ll need a book to list all of them (and I don\'t think I know all the methods because everyone can come up with something new everyday). So I will show you the most common and effective ways to get you started. I\'ll list three methods so far.
The first method, and the most used and the easiest to implement and to get started with is the Affiliate Marketing.
In short, to use an affiliate program, you need to sign up. They will give you a unique affiliate link or ID that tracks the number of visitors for that link and follow their behavior. If a visitor buy something from your affiliates, you will earn a commission (20% , 30% it depends). . Surfing the net, you will find many affiliate products for different type of websites. The tip here is to subscribe to affiliate programs that offer the products that are related to your blog. No one will be interested to buy computers while he is in a pet site (I think you got the idea). Try to make it as related to your content as you can, make the affiliate links look like a part of your blog, not like advertising links.
People interested to your content will follow these links to get more information about the subject or to buy something useful because you convinced them so. Following the links make you money.
The second way, is an easy way too .. it\'s the \"Pay per click ads\" (personally I use this method) There are several websites (AdBrite for example) and search engines (like Google and Yahoo!) that provide pay per click advertisements. It\'s easy to implement, you have to sign up, then copy and paste a ten lines code to your blog template. Within 10 minutes , links related to your blog will be generated and appear as a part of your blog content (and that\'s the power of it, it didn\'t appear like ads .. Unless you choose to put image ads and this is a mistake).
The difference between affiliate programs and pay per click ones, is that with the second choice, you get paid immediately when someone clicks on your links, you don\'t have to wait until he buys something in exchange. you can earn a few cents to a few dollars per click (it depends on your niche , imagine that you have two blogs, the first about books, the other is about how to buy a cars , You got the idea ? nice).
The third and last method is what we call \"Product Reviews\" some merchants are looking to market their products, and let the world know about them. As a blogger, you can provide good reviews on these products and simply get paid. There are several portals that link merchants and reviewers so you can find what you are looking for.
Product reviews can make you a lot of money especially if your site is popular and has large amount of traffic. you can earn from 30$ to thousands of dollars per review.
