Tips to Clean an Old Coffee Maker with Vinegar

As you may probably noticed, the taste of the coffee is different between an old and a new coffee maker. This difference exist because of coffee oils and hard water deposits with the time.

In this article, you will learn how to clean your coffee maker up using an easy method.

You will only need a solution of white vinegar and cold water. To prepare the solution, you must mix one part of the white vinegar and two parts of cold water. One full pot of white vinegar and water is quite enough.

Put the solution (Remember, 1 part vinegar + 2 parts water) into the reservoir of the coffee maker. The next step, is to cook the vinegar! Yes, simply you need to turn on your coffee maker and let the magic solution cycle through until it has totally run through.

Then, turn off your machine and let the it for twenty to twenty five minutes to cool (with the solution in it)

Now, just eliminate the solution and rinse the machine very well.

After rinsing, and if there still a smell of white vinegar in your machine, just put two pots of cold water in the reservoir and turn the coffee maker. Two to three minutes is enough.

Rinse the machine again and enjoy a coffe like in the old good days!
